In order to help your immediate curiosity, such tests have been done, and differences can be found. However, the argument then comes up that the differences are for signals outside the audio band, or that they are below a hearing threshold, etc. with the inevitable rejoinder that this is not entirely true, etc., and then things degenerate into the usual bickering and flame-wars.

So we are not going to start that up here.

Post a question in Prop Heads, maybe someone will answer, but it is unlikely to be anything but the usual and tired old arguments of yore.
