I've been running DMC-20 into a Pass X350 with Balanced Nordost Quattro Fil for many years. No problems. I also used to run a DMA180 with no problems. I run Nordost SPM speaker cables (worked ok with the Spectral amp)
IMO its nice that Spectral and MIT work together, but I really doubt
that Spectral would design equipment that is dependent on the cable for stability. I guess there may be some really reactive speakers out there which would have bad reaction with the high slew rate/bandwidth of the Spectral - but decent speakers with decent crossover that presents a near-ideal resistive load should be ok.
