I am also a bit confused, But if u ever used Monster cable, there do indicate the arrow on the IC to let u know how the IC should be connected.Maybe there is really no need to follow the direction of the wording for this IC cable ?
Another question come to my mind is "If this IC cable had been connected in this way for a long time ( it had already been burn-in )from an audiophile. U brought it from him & connect on the opposite direction as what he told u.
Is it o.k ? Directional of signal flow is opposite. Will it affect the sound quality ? Maybe in the short run. Yes. But after long hours, it's o.k ?What I mean its the time to burn-in again will be longer as usual even if its is a used cable ?
