this is an example. I know I bought about 6 square feet for $20 of a similar self adhesive tar sheet at a auto parts store in my neighborhood.
For my DIY speakers, I actually used mastik to glue in torch down roofing sheeting inside, which is basically sheets of a tar like material probably 3/16" thick and fairly flexible. Mainly mass loading isolation.

I know 3M also has some stick on sheets to stop ringing of metal, the ones I have seen are industrial for here at work, so I don't know if they are available in general public sizes.
