Guys,I've just bought a Arcam FMJ P7 power amp to add some beef to my home cinema but primarily to improve the soundstage on my 2CH Audio system.
I have this powering A Musical Fidelity A300 amp..
Question is I currently have
1 x pair 8ft Straightwire Rhapsody Cables
1 x Pair 13ft Nordost Blue Heaven Rev III am bi-amping the system (great improvements), using the Straightwire
for low frequencies and the Nordost for Mid/High.Question is, do you really think it's worth chopping the nordost to
the same length as the S/W, the difference is only about 4.5ft or so
and i would imagine that there is no real point in me doing this..Any comments would be appreciated, also if anyone has any comments about the cable matchings, I find this to be a good match, the S/W is a good cable giving much better bass response than the nordost which on it's own in a normal system is very bright, using this for high and mid frequencies makes the Kef's really sing and the S/W gives a much more solid bass than the nordost.
Cheers
Gary
