Yes, the DIY route is certainly very possible with the LC Audio modules, and I definitely encourage people to do so. However, the Solar Fusion amplifiers have more than just the stock LC Audio engineering. I have partnered with Jena Labs to improve the stock design significantly, and there is a significant sound quality gain over DIY implementations.
