Regarding the link from EEWeb, a lot has happened in the MOSFET world in the last 8 years- they have improved a lot. Our class D amp is GaNFET, but in the time it took to do the design work, we saw the improvements in MOSFETs seriously erode a lot of the GaNFET advantages.

At this point the real issue seems to be encoding and dealing with dead time issues, plus of course controlling noise/preventing ringing in the switching circuits.

The other link you provided says a lot of the same things I do, and does not talk about feedback at all.

Bruno Putzeys is an engineer who has been using high amounts of feedback in his circuits and has been doing so for a long time. He has written some excellent papers on the subject. I can provide links if you like.
