...If indeed you have an easy load of a relatively sensitive speaker. Most speakers are only drawing single digital wattage from an amplifier when they are running at a normal volume level for enjoyable listening.

I have heard low wattage amps sound glorious with the right speaker, and super-wattage amplifiers sound crap, and vice~versa. So take wattage with a pinch of salt. Partner and compare, then decide. Forget all about specs. They are misleading and inconsistent in their results.
