Desparate help needed - Ayre KX5eMP will not power up

I have an Ayre CX7eMP CD player and KX5eMP preamp, just purchased some MXR amplifiers (to replace my VX5e amp) and hung my TV on wall. After connecting everything back together to get ready to listen how the MXRs sound, the preamp is not powering up !!!!! I am SOL.

Not sure what to so, the owner manual says nothing about trouble-shooting, please advise!!! Is there a fuse to check? I checked the outlet and it works and so does the power cord.
