On my Walker, I used masking tape with marks where the arm pipe attaches to the azimuth/arm length/arm height collar. I rotate the tube through the marks and measure crosstalk with a DVOM at the amplifier terminals while playing the 0 dB 1 kHz single channel tones on a CBS test record. Once I find the minimum, I remove the tape. Not elegant, but it works.
