Your running the motor with a larger pulley, which gives it a torque disadvantage, and using the SDS to run it slower (to compensate for the larger pulley). One would think that the torque disadvantage would require a higher, not a lower voltage, to supply the additional torque required to spin the platter.Intersting . . .
