Sorry boys and girls, I just can't resist this. Am I right that you spend mega bucks on some vinyl spinner touted as one of the best in the world and then you are expected to spend HOW MUCH on making sure the bloody thing works at the right speed. Did the designers not take into mains fluctuations into account when designing it? Technics did (and all for $500). Sorry but "been had" springs to mind, just like it did when I finally decided to junk my LP12 after they wanted god knows how much for another upgrade that would "blow me away". the only one being blown away was my Bank Manager.

Beware the manufacturer who releases half baked products onto the market. Caveat emporer as dear old Frankie Howard would have said.

Oh well - a fool and his money etc.
