I have two adorable Himalayan cats; long haired, with incredibly delicate, thin and tiny hairs. You can sometimes see a single strand of hair floating in the air, it's so light and delicate.

But the problem is, when Im playing records, the strands of hair get pulled in by static and lodge themselves onto my stylus. I've tried everything -- the stylus brush that came with my Denon DL-103, the Magic Eraser, the blue tack. Nothing works. Those tiny hairs remain stuck to the stylus.

Is there a way to remove them? I'm worried that the hair strands may interfere with the stylus as it tracks the grooves. I read somewhere that it is not recommended to use alcohol on the DL-103 stylus, as it may unglue it from the cantilever. Any truth in that?
