I have my own very firm belief about what it is that seperates an Audiophile from a Music Lover ---{ and just so everyone knows IMHO a music lover can also own very expensive audio gear and yet not be an Audiophile per se }--- so I'm very curious as to what my fellow AA members believe constitutes the difference(s) between these two different groups.

I won't express my belief on this topic yet, because I don't want the responses to start off in the dirrection of; I don't agree with you or I do agree with you, because... So just for now, I really want to know what your opinion is on what the difference(s) between an Audiophile and a Music lover is/are.

"The man that hath no music in himself, nor is not moved with the concord of sweet sounds, is fit for treasons, deceptions, and spoils;
The motions of his spirit are dull as night and his affections dark as Hell. Let no such man be trusted."

- William Shakespeare from The Merchant of Venice; Act V,i
