Richard from paeasound brought a new JC-2 preamp over to Brian Walsh's house when he had Dr. West's demo of the majestics. I can tell you that the JC-2 did not need to feel ashamed compared to Brian's blowtorch. It is a fine preamp for the planned, about $3K price. It would be nice to have a shootout :-). Maybe there is a common cure for the unobtanium poisoning.
