I have had the Django for about a year now. It is a crazy bargain, a no-brainer.You mentioned accuracy in timbre...acoustic guitar has a shimmering quality, a palpable reality to it. And vocals can be positively haunting.
The one concern I had before I made the purchase was dynamics. After a good 300 hours break-in I had better dynamics than I had on my integrated. Since I listen to a lot of rock, this is an important concern for me, but this unit can rock. And with not a trace of flabbiness or boominess in the bass registers.
I use the 6 dB gain, this may be an issue with systems with a high source output impedance and/or amps with low input impedance.
