Nice news

Glad you found happiness without spending mega bucks. Turntables can almost become fetish objects, the way people form attachments to them and then defend them to the death against perceived attacks.

Not that I am against that kind of stuff

With conventional wisdom saying that a high quality turntable inevitably involves precision manufacturing which is never going to be cheap in this small market, no wonder this table raises a few questions.

Yeah , I know , this table is from the big market days, but was designed as a mass market product. Specialized designs typically beat mass market in this little world, because of the price points, or because they have a gifted designer who owns the company. Usually both.

I was happy to see you are using a Grado cart. I can't understand which cart in that line would be best for me, some seem to have very similar price points, and the names also are confusing.

I would like to buy American, but might have to see a dealer to have them explain the choices for me. How did you choose?
