I know that the speakers are the weakest part in my system but if I sell them on the second-hand market they will bring in at most $500 but I can easily get $1,900 to $2,000 for my Thule.
I also know (after reading you replies and elsewhere) that the speakers and tube (power) amplifiers must be "matched" so I guess I better wait until I can replace both amplifier and speakers at the same time.
