My local library just restarted accepting items to sell. Had to check the booksale for Lps (although I have too many). Brought home John Mayall,s "Turning Point" on Polydor. I kept my hopes in check because it was grimey and a bit scuffed but after washing at the sink the sound is excellent. I think the record was mostly sitting stored away - the label looks new, anyway. There is a lyric insert with band photos also. Listened to side one - blues with acoustic instruments including sax. Live performance with audience. My brother bought this album when it came out -- I like the playing more now than I did then.
