its not really available now. it uses tribute iron - and pieter is semi-retired and has stopped supplying diy .

for another look at line stage -- i suggest coincident . i use that as my 2nd line stage. it takes up a lot of real estate but is hard to beat at the 5k price point. i doubt if any other tube preamp is going to offer significant upward potential. the 2 preamps that seem interesting to me are: 1) beckert labs. 2) a serbian company,NAT, has an interesting preammps that are on the border of being affordable. i have not heard either - so pure speculation. f
