and an exacto knife could be used to fabricate a new mat. Also, in the gardening section of ACE Hardware, you can find 12 inch diameter , thick, cork mats used for under plant pots. Of course, you might have to spend just a little more money for a hole punch, and use the Barbara Streisand record again to mark the spindle hole.
