RE: Heatwave! Temps hitting 40ºC/104ºF locally, hot flat.. worried

I live in Western Sydney Australia where for the summer we have temperatures constantly in the 30s with odd days of 40 degrees or more. Our house has no air-conditioning, just ceiling fans so it gets very warm in here. My 7 inch singles-about 500 of them- have stood up on a normal shelf at a slight lean for over 30 years now and whenever I pull one out to play they are perfect. My 2000 odd albums the same.
The same applies for singles as albums. Don't lie them flat and don't leave them in the direct sun. Otherwise just stand them up in a rack as you are doing and you should never have a problem.
