Collapsed DV-20X cantilever

Picture taken with my iPhone.
I bought this DV-20XL years ago and put it aside. The stylus is resting on a compact disc on the platter. As you can see, there's barely any clearance. VTF is a touch over 2g.
It *sounds* fantastic, though.
I don't hear or see any evidence that the cartridge body is ever touching the record. If there's no danger that it will damage records, I'm inclined to use it for the remaining life of the stylus.
