I am a spin clean fan. Only because I'm too cheap to buy a proper RCM.
Been using mine faithfully for many years.

I don't question the superiority of the VPI and others, but
if you start out with half decent records, Spin Clean works great.
It won't miraculously eliminate EVERY stitch/tick on a record, but relatively speaking, for $100 bucks or whatever the latest price is,
It WILL clean it ENOUGH to enjoy your record. It's quick, convenient
doesn't take up space. I use mine, give a final rinse under the faucet, wipe dry-play.Simple.

As stated earlier, I do believe starting out with a good record makes a difference. That is where perhaps, a real RCM separates itself for the humble Spin Clean.

I've taken records cleaned on the Spin Clean to audio shows and have never heard a "bad cleaning job" Mind you, I have cleaned records on the Audio Desk, which IMO, is THE ONE. The difference of $3500 is whats keeping me from buying one.
