I don't doubt that you get good support from VPI per their addressing questions, though don't know if you've experienced the repair side of their operation. Still, considering you are an insider with early access to products and as I recall a means to directly contact owners, the support you receive differs from non-insiders. And unless you are active at VPI I don't know how you would know that the poster you responded to that his "plight is extremely unusual." Seemingly some customers have experienced good things with support and repairs but there also is a percentage of customers who have experienced very poor support.
