Left: Electrolytic capacitor (1uF/250V) removed from a stock FISHER 80C preamp - at the 12AU7 cathode follower output stage.
Reasons for 'nice' sound (as some inmates might find) or poor sound (as I found)? Now the sound is wonderful.
