The C26 was a "nice" preamp for it's day. But that day was when people were trying to move away from tubes.

I've had two C26's. They look nice, sound nice and have a real retro sense about them. But even by the 70's standards they were not a hot performer.

If you're a Mac aficionado then you need one in your collections. Otherwise if it's for Hifi then consider a more recent Mac.
