Better than average in that class

I remember hearing them and a number of other speakers in that "class". Since that was my price range at the time.

It was 40 years ago. But one thing I DO remember is they were better than the other speakers in the "economy" level.

My friend had a smaller Marantz receiver and we were looking for speakers. He was going to buy those, I think??? but ended up spending a few more dollars and getting a set of AR. I think he still has those speakers 40 years later.
