This Island Earth

Posted by mark.korda@myfairpoint.net on June 25, 2017 at 07:37:56:

Hi,
Last night I watched the sci-fi classic (This Island Earth). The professor from Gilligans Island co stars. After the first scene, a Shooting Star jet flying around I watched the second scene in a new light.
The star and another scientist received an unknown schematic to build something called a (interossitor). They put 33 thousand volts thru what they thought might be a little condenser but was a little glowing tube.
It was 1955, vintage stuff and all I could see was Samra and Airtime as these 2 actors.
When the interossitor was completed, it looked like a triangular tv set. A man with certain instructions was seen. I didn't think then but now I'm thinking Vinnie....anyone seen this movie?....Mark Korda
