I've never tried (or even heard of) ABC Tajpu, Eli, so thanks for that. I'll have to check it out.

To enter the charterers I mentioned, I hold down the Alt key and type 0186 for degree, 0181 for micro, and 0162 for cent. I think those codes are normally used in Microsoft Word, but they work here on the Asylum. Note that the numbers must be entered via the number pad to the right of a standard keyboard. Using the numbers across the top, under the F1, F2 etc. keys won't work.

I've never had them go awry in preview, or even in post. But if I go back and try and edit my post, or look at something I posted five years ago, that's when the gibberish often shows up.
