Oh yes,they were exceptional on bass and they were detailed and accurate in the mids in an analytical sense but they were very boring and dry to a lot of people including myself.
This Plinus is the amp that I was very impressed with this winter when I heard it on my friend's Apogee Divas. We were running a tube preamp tho.
