All from the advice of audio forum posters, for the arm and platter mechanisms I used Super Lube 21030 synthetic grease.
For the motor I initially used Super Lube 51010 synthetic oil, but then replaced that with LA-CO zoom spout turbine oil.
I'll try grease on the motor.
