EICO RP 100 Reel To Reel worth fixing??

Posted by VintageHiFi on September 2, 2005 at 15:13:28:

Hi,
I just picked up an old EICO RP 100 reel to reel deck. The unit rewinds, fast forwards but will not play. Are these old decks worth Fixing? I can't seem to find anything for reference on ebay or audiogon. Any idea of todays value? I found some info on the asylum as to the original value in the mid 1960's, they were very expensive!
Thank you,
Jeff Cole.
