Re: Jordan 92X passive EQ thingie

If I'm correct, the RC or RCL inseries can be used to give more bass by cutting frequencies from Mid and up.

In Klang & Ton of september 2001 there's plan for making a speaker that radiates 360 degrees (excuse my english...), look at www. hifisound.de for Round About and you know what i mean!
In the same issue there's also a suggestion for installing the JX92S in a vented or closed box using a combination of RCL and RL inseries with the following values:

R1 6.8R 10W
C1 22uF
L1 0.68mH/1.4mm

R2 4.7R 10W
L2 1.0mH/1.4mm

I have installed the JX92S in a 9 liter vented box with the above above values. I only have my ears to 'measure' and teh frequency reponse is even with a surprissing amount of bass (I will however also build the TL from Jordanspage).

P.S. Also check out the Jordan Horn at the mentioned website. Suggestion for a RCL in the horn is only to use the above mentioned R1C1L1
