No Contest, Acme is my favorite

Posted by Carlos on March 11, 2003 at 16:28:46:

I tried several Hubbel, Pass & Seymour, Leviton, FIM and ACME outlets.
I agree 100% with Jerry P's review. ACME rules.

I would use a FIM if my system had too much treble.
Also, Hubbel hospital grade is very good for extracting that last oomph of bass from your power amp. The midrange sounds slightly metallic compared to Acme, but if you are a bass freak, it pays to use Hubbel on the power amp.
But in the end, on a well adjusted system, ACME is the best thing I have heard. The difference it makes is about the same as upgrading to much better interconnects.
good luck
Carlos
