I have an ACI sub, and I live in Canada. Frankly, *if* I used the unbalanced outputs, I'd just buy the filters (caps) from ACI, and be done with it. But I don't, I use the balanced outputs from the pre to my amp, and ACI will give you no useful info on what you can do if you don't use unbalanced [they are very nice and helpful otherwise, but don't compromise a sale...].

So either parallel caps to get the value you want, or buy the good quality ones and pick either the lower or higher value, it doesn't really matter that much. Just decide if you want the corner frequency of the filter a little lower or higher than 80Hz. Whatever value you choose, you'll be helping your main amp...
