Help me upgrade op-amps!

Posted by Bod on April 1, 2002 at 08:23:44:

I have an Arcam Alpha 7SE and looking inside there are 2 identical chips which I presume are op-amps, near the analogue outputs. They are 8 pin things and say this on the:

2114D
JRC
9114G

Does anyone know what kind they are and what would be the best replacement?

There is also another chip inside, it's a 14 pin one and says:

74HCU04N
B9317PS
Hnn9840 B

What is this chip? I dont think it's the DAC. Is this chip upgradable too?
