Re: NHT 1.5 crossover mod?

Crossover modifications usually involve upgrade/replacement of capacitors, resistors, and inductors. Existing caps (especially if they're electrolytics) can be replaced with upgraded film types like Solen, Auricap, MIT, or Hovland. Resistor replacements should be non-inductive. Mills, Eagle, and Ohmite are good candidates. You can also replace inductors (coils) but new ones should have the same resistance (within an ohm) as well as the same inductance as the originals. Use air core for best results, although if space prohibits air cores, steel laminate can be used.
