Auto Filter Mods?

Posted by mikegarrick on November 28, 2001 at 14:35:19:

Hello anyone who will listen!

I want to build a simple bandpass filter (knob movements = wah sounds) to put between an audio signal (ex.: guitar or synth) and my mixer input so to tweaking the sound by hand.

I was thinking I could just build a wah circuit, but if there's a simple mod out there to remove the "auto" in an "auto wah" pedal, I'd rather do that. Auto-wahs are cheap on ebay... Could it be more complicated than switching out the right pot for the right resistor?
