Thanks for the quick reply.
How is the quality of the on-board DAC? I suppose if I use the analog ins and outs, I'd be using the DAC anyway, so this is sort of a silly question. With your mods, is it servicable by itself, or would an external DAC be a real necessity?
What level does it want to operate at? If I rigged up a little device to boost my consumer -10dBV gear to the pro standard +4dBu, would that be enough?
