I just had a recent interest in actually DIYing the tripath brought on by the tripath thread below this, which refers to your article (I belive). I'd been eyeing the Bel Canto too, but didn't know it used the tripath. I've formed my opinion based on the evidence I've encountered, technical or not.
When I get some time I'll build one and maybe some more. Any thoughts about building a balanced monoblock from one chip/board, for use either with electrostatics or a sub (lots of power)?
