RE: Amp Base/ Vibration

Ipe - Brazilian Walnut see linky below
It is very hard and often used for Decks

Back to the vibration question, I have been using a few different items/techniques for many years - and been quite happy with the results

I have a couple of analytic balance bases, think synthetic stone with vibration damping feet (springs) - and the whole thing weights 100+ pounds - I have one under my Amp, plus a platform from Aspy Khambatta.

I have also built some multi-layered platforms using Granite, Aluminum plate, leaded vinyl and cork.

There are a number of industrial multi-layered rubber products that can work nicely...
It is important!
