The fake labeling of Chinese audio gear is unfortunate. It's a cultural thing that westerners should get hip to. As long as a seller does not advertise the product as a counterfeit fake knockoff, if the product is labeled as an Acrolink product, but Acrolink has never offered such a thing, it's just a silly thing that Chinese manufacturers and Chinese businessmen choose to do for maximum interest in their products, which are not necessarily inexpensive as an investment. The morality of buying an affordable device with a silly branding mark does not bother me too much. Western manufacturers source much of their parts from China, so I'm just buying at HQ wholesale prices for use within my own DIY designs, not for sale to the general public, on my part.
