RE: Male AC Connector to Mate with Oyaide C-046 IEC on Flavor 1?

Posted by Duster on January 30, 2017 at 10:37:05:

My Inmate Systems page is way out of date, and while the unplated Furutech FI-11M(Cu) AC plug and silver Furutech FI-11(Ag) IEC connector was once a favorite combination for the Flavor power cords, I prefer gold plated AC connectors for the Flavor power cords at this time. That said, I think a gold Oyaide P-079 AC plug and palladium over gold Oyaide C-046 IEC connector combination could be considered a higher-performance version of the Furutech FI-11M(Cu) AC plug and silver Furutech FI-11(Ag) IEC connector combination, since the concept of a faster sounding IEC connector is involved in both recipes, and the palladium over gold Oyaide C-046 IEC connector is not as lean sounding as the silver Furutech FI-11(Ag) IEC connector. So in my opinion, a P-079/C-046 AC connector combination for your Flavor 1 should be a thumbs-up configuration for your particular application.
