Which Oyaide AC plug for fuller mid-bass, paired with C-246 IEC plug?

Posted by carcass93 on August 30, 2011 at 12:40:58:

I'm planning a little re-terminating project, and have the cord itself, and Oyaide C-246 IEC plug (20A version of C-046).

From a search here, it seems that P-079 would be better choice for the stated purpose (fuller mid-bass) than P-046 - is that everybody's experience?

Are there any sacrifices (sound-wise) to be made going with 079 instead of 046?
