RE: What Are The Very Best Wall Receptacles?

I’m surprised that no one here has mentioned the Jena Labs cryo-treated Hubbell. I did an extensive comparison between a cryo’d R1 and the Jena—both broken in for over a month—and IMO the Jena edged out the Oyaide. It had superior timbral resolution and dimensionality, two qualities I value highly. The Oyaide seemed kinda forced and “hi-fi,” whereas the Jena was extremely natural and fluid. Plus, the Jena is close to fifty bucks cheaper. I think the Oyaide is still a great outlet, but in my rig, the Jena beat it. I have a Teslaplex on order to test as well.
