All the products I mentioned, plus the Running Springs Haley mentioned in a reply are all available in US outlet versions here (In fact, virtually all power conditioners sold in HK are eqipped that way such that people can play with aftermarket cords which mostly come with US plugs).

Therefore, my concerns would be more on sound and practicality.
