two dedicated 20 amp homerun powerlines. I'd like to have more based on what I've observed.
One day I was doing some system cleaning, had everything unplugged and plugged the amp (200 watt) and the source components into the same line. Later I realized that my system was not sounding as good as it had in the past. I put the amp back on its own line, everything else on the other line, and guess what? -- the sound returned to its previous high quality level.
If you have a high power amp, I strongly recommend putting it on its own line, with no other components on that line. With the amp sharing a line in my system, I noticed a reduction in dynamics and clarity. YMMV of course.
