Bandpass crossovers tend to peak due to the two filters interacting, thus requiring slightly more attenuation than a simple calculation would reveal.
As I said, it is worth it totry their design, listen to it, and decide what you like better. Be aware that you might be used to listening to your crossover, and it may have been skewed in terms of frequency balance. I base this comment on your schematic above.
