In your post you use the following example:

My ASL Explorer 805s used a 220- and two 47µF decouplers in the 3 positions; I replaced them with 47-, 22-, and 15µF 630V. Solens, again, bypassed.

So the 220 µF electrolytic was replaced by a 47 µF film cap;
The 47 µF electrolytic was replaced by a 22 µF film, which was bypassed by a 15 µF film. Is this correct?

If so, how did you determine that value of the initial caps would be 47 µF in place of the 220?
